DATA SAFETY

Verifying Data.

PMT makes it easy to verify the integrity of your data:

• At the bottom of the balance sheet is a row called “Balance Sheet Check” displaying the difference between Assets and Liabilities plus Equity.

• You may not export and submit data to AMFIU if your balance sheet does not balance.
  A small pop-up will remind you to review your figures.

• At the bottom of the Portfolio and Outreach section of the input form is a row called “Data Integrity Checksum” displaying a code of letters and figures. Each time even one figure anywhere on the input form gets altered, this code will also change. So you can easily compare two reports by comparing their checksums in order to find out if they are identical or not.

Data safety Consideration.

Data will be backed up on the online PMT server at daily intervals. The backed-up files will be deposited to ‘/storage/backups’ and may be downloaded for further analysis using any SFTP system.
